Watchmaking. The first Watchmaking Training Center in Greece.

Training Program

The training program designed by Watchmaking consists of an academic year divided into two distinct mandatory training cycles.

The total duration of the 9-month training amounts to 900 hours, starting in October and concluding in June.

The knowledge and practical training provided through Watchmaking's educational programs are fully recognized. Students who successfully graduate from the school have the option to further their education by pursuing a postgraduate degree through private programs abroad.

Participants who complete their chosen training cycle are capable of repairing, maintaining, and assembling precision timepieces of significant financial or sentimental value.

Watchmaking's training seminars are conducted in Greek and English, upon request.

Where do they take place

In the heart of the capital, with easy access from all parts of the city via various means of transportation, lies Watchmaking’s “sanctuary” of the art of time.

The craft of watchmaking requires precision handling, calmness, a clear mind and steady hands, as well as organized thinking and movements. The space designed by Watchmaking for future watchmakers has been carefully structured to provide all the necessary conditions for technicians to work with complete focus, free from external distractions such as noise, disturbances, or tension.

The interior layout and design follow the standards set by international watchmaking institutions. The specialized workbenches were crafted by skilled carpenters in collaboration with Watchmaking’s administration, ensuring they facilitate the technician’s movements. Additionally, the space is equipped with state-of-the-art professional tools, sourced from abroad to meet global industry specifications.

To whom are they addressed

Watchmaking opens its educational courses and seminars for watchmaking technicians, inviting both untrained enthusiasts and experienced professionals to explore the scientific knowledge behind a profession that enjoys high recognition and lucrative opportunities in many countries worldwide.

In England, France, Switzerland, and Japan, watchmaking is regarded as a highly demanding technical art, continuously evolving and producing increasingly remarkable timepieces that are considered true works of art.

Watchmaking welcomes all who admire the craftsmanship of timepieces, those with discipline, precision, organization, and the ambition to stand out in a demanding field that requires dedication and continuous effort. Whether they are unemployed individuals seeking a new skill, self-taught watchmakers, jewelers, or silversmiths, they represent the future technicians of Watchmaking, equipped to master and advance the craft.
